Andrew Sage Arts and Entertainment was formed in 2005 by Andrew Sage to provide clients with a more structured operating environment.

Andrew has been a developer since 1994 when he worked as a web developer for Wintermute, Aberdeen’s first ISP. He went on to work for various other companies in Aberdeen before striking out on his own to form ASAE.

He is an experienced multi-disciplinary software engineer, developing on various platforms ranging from C to Ruby. He has over a decade’s experience in the mobile devices arena, having developed using Palm, Windows CE and, most recently, Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android.

These technologies offer powerful and rich platforms for development far beyond the scope of mobile apps; however, with the advent of Apple, iOS and Google Android, ‘apps’ have erupted onto the software development market, and are set to remain there for the foreseeable future.

Anyone can learn to develop an app, but what distinguishes the great from the dreadful is the experience, flair and expertise of the company, and, more importantly, the developer.

Andrew is proud to say that he has a deep-rooted knowledge of the languages with which mobile apps are forged. This gives ASAE the differentiating factor; Andrew has the knowledge, wisdom and expertise to confidently say ‘yes, this can be done’ and to make helpful suggestions to make your app attractive and easy to use. He has the ability to return to clients in a few hours and present the changes requested in a professional and technologically solid manner.

Andrew doesn’t claim he can do something and then two weeks later admit that he can’t. If he isn’t able to do what you’re asking he will tell you there and then, and offer an alternative.
